At BIS Abu Dhabi, our nursery and reception children follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. This is adapted to fit our international context.
Your child will explore the seven EYFS areas through multi-sensory play, where they’ll experiment and investigate, sing and dance, create and construct, and generally have a wonderful time. Through topics like ‘Let’s Go Explore’ and ‘Down in the Deep Dark Woods’, our teachers deliver real-life experiences that develop vital numeracy, literacy, physical, and social skills.
Students learn in a maximum class size of 20, with the support of a class teacher and two assistants. This guarantees every child gets the attention they deserve, and that our teachers have the time to really understand how they learn best.
Our teachers form excellent relationships with our parents, too. We’ll invite you into class and regularly give you updates on your child’s progress.
