The children were delighted this morning to discover that overnight a special visitor had come to school and left them some delicious treats. Sinterklaas had visited each class and left some special pepernoten and chocolate treats inside a big wellington boot for all the children to enjoy. He had also left a letter and a powerpoint presentation for the children to watch to learn all about this Dutch tradition. It was a lovely way to start the morning and a great way for our Dutch students to share an important tradition with their classmates.
