What an amazing time everyone had on Saturday at the family Fun Day - and it certainly was fun.
[[\media\Family Fun at NIS Jakarta 2.mp4]]The children delighted in all the play activities and had a great time getting messy, climbing, digging, painting and listening to stories. They were transformed into magical creatures and fairy tale characters at the face-painting stall and nail bar then got to eat yummy food and ice cream from all the delicious food vendors. And, because the children were so engaged in all the fun, the parents also got time to chat and catch up over a delicious fresh coconut juice or an iced coffee. Smiles, laughter, play and chat. A great day out for all our families and friends!
Elevating your child’s learning experience through play invitations is one of the answers to the question: "How do I support my child's learning at home?" A play invitation should be inviting and attention grabbing, however, it does not have to be FIERCE (that is, Fabulous, Involving adults, Expensive, Result-driven, Creative and Elaborate). The key is to work with what you have.
