What a wonderful day of Family Fun was had by all on Saturday at NIS. It was a very active, fun and messy morning as the children explored all the different activities on offer; face painting and nail art, stone painting and ice block magic, assault course and climbing frame challenges, story time, sand and water play and much more. This was great day of laughter, activity and chatter for the adults and children alike and a great example of our vibrant school community working and playing together. Thanks to everyone for your participation and sense of fun.
Elevating your child’s learning experience through play invitations is one of the answers to the question: "How do I support my child's learning at home?" A play invitation should be inviting and attention grabbing, however, it does not have to be FIERCE (that is, Fabulous, Involving adults, Expensive, Result-driven, Creative and Elaborate). The key is to work with what you have.
