With Vivaldi’s 4 seasons playing, the parents were welcomed into an oasis of creativity where the campus was transformed into an Art and Sculpture Park. Every class was challenged to produce a collaborative piece of art inspired by one of the 4 elements that will be our new House Teams; Earth, Water, Wind, Light. The results were truly amazing, and the full school community were impressed by the creativity, originality and art skills on show. Our older students assumed the role of gallery guides and impressively explained the learning process’ and skills used to the exhibition visitors. A wonderful morning was enjoyed by everyone and we are very proud of our young artists. The Art Exhibition will continue to be on show during the coming weeks so if you were not able to attend this morning’s opening, please do pop in at another time.
Elevating your child’s learning experience through play invitations is one of the answers to the question: "How do I support my child's learning at home?" A play invitation should be inviting and attention grabbing, however, it does not have to be FIERCE (that is, Fabulous, Involving adults, Expensive, Result-driven, Creative and Elaborate). The key is to work with what you have.
