NAIS Pudong Scholarships
Our values are clear that we aim to develop creative, confident, and considerate students who are prepared for their futures, and where better to start building that confidence than with our youngest students. From the first moment they enter our school, they access our incredible Early Years teaching and learning spaces, all filled with activities that spark fun roleplay, collaboration, and encourage our students to dream.
We continue our #DreamsStartHere video series this week, celebrating our youngest students who, although perhaps not fully appreciative of what it means to have a future career just yet, are encouraged through roleplay to embrace their dreams of what they want to become in future, whether that be a doctor, pilot, scientist, teacher, or anything else. Our intent is to always embrace that for as long as it‘s meaningful to that individual.
Over the coming weeks we’ll share with you a range of stories from alumni, all of whom talk about their dreams when they were younger, how NAIS Pudong supported them in school, and ultimately, where their post-education career pathway has taken them. Next week we'll hear from Samyudah, a NAIS Pudong student for six years, and George Washington Univeristy graduate who has just been accepted to start her MPA in International Finance and Economic Policy at Columbia University. For now though, please enjoy the next of our videos showcasing our wonderful young learners, for whom Dreams have already Started Here, at NAIS Pudong.
If you‘d like to see for our Early Years environment for yourself, you can contact the Admissions team at admissions@naispudong.com or visit our website for more information.
In the final of our series of alumni spotlight articles, we speak with Matthew Ward, a professional football player in England who spent six years at NAIS Pudong before departing in 2019 to take up his current role as an elite sports star!
At NAIS Pudong, we strive to achieve our values, one element of which is building confidence in our students to help them better prepare for life after education. But what about building the confidence to question one’s approach and strategy in tacking tasks or ideas?
On the last day of Term One, Principal Diane Vaughan conducted the termly Principal's Awards, this time celebrating the outstanding contributions of students who exemplify one of the school's core values of being considerate.
On 9th and 10th of December years 7-9 students were given the chance to debate on a given present-day topic. A debate is a structured discussion where individuals present and defend their viewpoints on a topic, aiming to persuade others with well-supported arguments.
