Our recent toddler group “Tiny Tots” has been a real success, it was not only aimed at supporting relationships between children and parents but also to provide a range of experiences to promote learning and development for the child.

An architect by the name of Simon Nicholson developed the Theory of Loose Parts in the 1970’s. He believed that all children are creative and innovative and that this creativity and innovation should be nurtured in all. Loose parts are any material (natural or synthetic) that can be moved, rotated, stacked, sorted, combined, taken apart and re-assembled in endless ways.
The opportunity to perform is a big part of the Primary experience for all students and we saw our Year 5 and 6 children do just this on Tuesday and Wednesday.
