This term saw the first sports competition of the year and it was fantastic to see many students and teachers take part.
The Global Campus 2km event was the first in a series of virtual events that encourages everyone to get moving and also provides the opportunity to compete against students from all over the world.
Students' entries were also collectively counted and were part of a whole school House Competition, and I would like to extend my congratulation to House Vikings who took an early lead and was declared the overall House Champion.
Don’t worry though there will be plenty more opportunities for House Romans, Normans and Saxons to catch up.
I really enjoyed taking part in this competition and reading all of the comments from around the world on the global campus wall.
The next Global Campus Sports Competition is the 5km event in October. Although this event is more challenging, I would like to see even more entries from NAIS Manila.
It is always good to challenge yourself and set yourself goals. If you remain motivated and resilient and apply the right amount of preparation you can easily achieve this goal. Keeping physically active is also extremely important as part of your development.
So my challenge to you is to start preparing now and help your House win the next competition!

Your PE teachers will also be giving you tips and encouragement in your PE lessons.
