The Jazz Composers Academy

The band took us through a variety of jazz styles, including adaptations of "My Favourite Things," Funk interpretations of "The Chicken," and their own compositions. Natalie's Jazz Ballad "Old Vinyls" was featured in the middle of their performance, and was inspired by her time in Shanghai with her grandfather, who plays old Chinese and Mandopop music from the 1950s and 1960s, which often evokes nostalgic memories in Natalie's head.

Natalie’s jazz piece has also been chosen to be performed at the Hong Kong City Hall as the encore piece of the graduation concert this Saturday. Click the link below for details.
