Year 8 Assembly with Jordan Hattar

Last week, Year 8 were treated to an assembly and workshop with Jordan Hattar, a humanitarian who started his charity Help4Refugees.org in 2012. Jordan has worked tirelessly to support the underprivileged in South Sudan, Syrian refugees in Northern Jordan, has interned with former First Lady Michelle Obama at the White House, and now spends his time educating students all around the world.

The experience for the children was eye-opening and emotional for some but enabled all students to deeply reflect on their position in world and what they might be able to do to support those in need.
