Year 6 Help4Refugees

Year 6 had a Teams call this afternoon with Jordan Hattar and Nadeen. Nadeen is a Syrian refugee who was living in a tent in Turkey with her 2 year old daughter, 4 year old daughter and her brother, after the earthquake destroyed her home earlier this year. The money raised by Y6 during their Peace Showcase in January has directly funded an apartment for Nadeen and her family for the next 6 months. It was very moving and we're all very proud of the Year 6 children!
