What is the Sports Leaderships Award programme?
Thursday 25 February 8.30 - 9.00am (Years 6 - 8 parents / Cafeteria)
Same as above.
E-safety at Home
Tuesday 1 March 8.30 – 9.00am (Years 5 – 8 parents)
This will be led by our Head of Pastoral Care, Mr. David Boyd. There’s a trend with young children having more and more access to social media, and so we all need to ensure that we can create a safe online environment for our children. We would like to encourage as many parents (specifically for Years 5 to 8, but Year 4 parents are welcome too!) to come along to this useful workshop.
For all parent workshops, please register with Ricky.Auyeung@nais.hk to save your place.
INTERNATIONAL DAY MEETING
International Day is on Friday 15 April. Led by Mrs. Mariam Khalik, the first planning meeting has been rescheduled to Friday 26 February 2:15pm. If you are still interested in getting involved or helping in any way, please contact her on Mariam.Khalik@nais.hk. For those who weren’t here last year, here’s a quick reminder of the wonderful day we had – click here.

Four international schools, namely The British School of Guangzhou, The British International School of Hanoi, Discovery Bay International School and NAIS will be competing in athletics, swimming and football. Our Primary and Secondary teams have been selected and our PE teachers have been busily training with them every day. For the Opening Ceremony, we’ve seen some pupils in action already and we can’t wait to watch it on 2 March! More updates next week.
EASTER AND SUMMER CAMPS
Together with Kids’ Gallery and All Round Education, we will be offering exciting Easter camps here at Lam Tin for Sports, Fine Arts, and Design and Technology camps. For this week…
PUPIL COUNCIL
Year 3 – 8 pupils have been presenting to their respective classes in the hope of becoming part of the first Pupil Council. Names were announced this week and the first meeting will take place next Thursday 25 February. They will have a greater say in improvements around the school and things that affect them. Our Secondary students on the Pupil Council include: Elena and Janice (from Year 7) and Rebecca and Ryan (from Year 8), and they will be taking the lead in this all-through Pupil Council.

Our delightful Class 1D led the Primary assembly and they told us about the different types of dinosaurs. There are some excellent photos here. Thanks for Ms. Rachael Rostron and her class for their hard work and creativity!

Students go home as normal and can come back in casual wear. Letters will be going home today and we would appreciate it if these could be returned back on Monday.
