This is the third year running that La Côte International School has achieved a 100% pass rate in its International Baccalaureate Diploma results, compared to the world IB pass rate of 79%.
On behalf of the entire school community, La Côte International School's Principal Ms Wendy Ellis is delighted to announce the 2017 IB Diploma results of our third cohort of graduating students.
Please join us in congratulating them for all their hard work and commitment, which has enabled them to achieve the standout results they should all be proud of.
- Their outstanding average score of 32.4 places them significantly ahead of the 2017 global average of 29.95.
- 14% of our students achieved 40 points or more, a result shared only by the top 9% of the world's IB Diploma students. This is the level of attainment required to gain admission to the world's elite universities such as Cambridge, Oxford and Harvard.
- For the third year running our IB Diploma students achieved a 100% pass rate, an exceptional achievement compared to the world IB pass rate of 79%.
Bravo to the graduating class of 2017 and all their teachers. These academic results are a real credit to our students and the teaching staff who encouraged and supported Philip, Oliver, Erik, Katlo, Abigaël, Melissa and Julius throughout their DP years, both from an academic perspective and in a pastoral sense.
True to La Côte International School's core values, the Diploma Programme teaching team lead by Lynda Thompson, our exceptional DP co-ordinator, fostered the passion for hand-on learning and the emotional resilience necessary for our students to shine and achieve their best.
Philip, Oliver, Erik, Katlo, Abigaël, Melissa and Julius, thank you for making yourselves and the entire LCIS school community proud.
We wish you well in the next stage of your lives and believe you will continue to flourish in your education and future professional careers.
