Paula Lorenzo Geada

Spanish and French Teacher, Year 7 Form Tutor
Paula Lorenzo Geada - Paula Lorenzo Geada

Being born in a bilingual region gave Paula the taste of how much languages can shape our cultural views. In addition to her extensive experience teaching in four different continents (Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America) she keeps developing herself with methodological and pedagogical courses focused on teaching Spanish as a Second Language.

Paula is passionate about Neurolinguistics, Pragmatics and Cross-Cultural features of languages. She hopes to finish her PhD in Applied Linguistics soon. She also believes language instruction provides a vehicle to understand cultures, traditions, people and their views of the world (Cosmovision). Her purpose is to create an environment where students are reassured of their strengths, aware of their improvements while using the target language.

Paula is honoured to be a member of the ISM team and be part of this amazing team of teachers. This will be her second year at ISM and her fifth year living in Moscow.
