Chris began teaching in 2003 and he loves every aspect of his job. Chris believes it is a privilege to lead such an outstanding International School. 'I have the best job in the world' is a statement that students and parents will often hear Chris say.
Chris brings with him a clear vision and a deep commitment to nurturing a holistic educational environment that promotes excellence, empathy, and innovation. His overarching goal is to empower every student to unlock their full potential and become confident, compassionate, and responsible global citizens. At the heart of his vision lies a strong emphasis on fostering a student-centred approach. He firmly believes that education should be a collaborative process, where students are actively engaged in their own learning. He strives to create an inclusive and supportive atmosphere that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity. By fostering a love for learning, he hopes to inspire a lifelong passion for knowledge and exploration.
Equally important is the cultivation of character and values. He firmly believes in the power of kindness, integrity, and respect. He works closely with our dedicated staff to provide a safe and nurturing environment, where these values are not only taught, but also demonstrated daily. He believes that by nurturing strong moral character, we can equip our students to face the challenges of the world with compassion and resilience.
Chris is originally from Bolton and still follows his hometown team 'Bolton Wanderers'. Away from school, he enjoys spending time with his son and exploring the many parks that Moscow has to offer. He also enjoys running, squash, tennis and swimming.
