Dedicated to promoting an inclusive educational environment, Bruce believes in simultaneously challenging students and providing them the support they need to thrive academically. He has an unwavering commitment to respect the individuality of each student and stimulate their curiosity about the world. As a enthusiastic scientist, he passionately conveys the importance of this discipline in everyday life, making it engaging and significant.

 

Bruce’s favourite aspect of ISM is the collective commitment to cultivating an excellent school culture. The dedication exhibited by students, teachers, and leadership alike is a testament to their belief in the power of a supportive educational community.

 

His personal interests are as diverse as his teaching approach. He enjoys playing music, maintaining fitness by going to the gym, running and playing squash, exploring the culinary scene of Moscow, and travelling to new places. Moreover, his love for NFL football keeps him awake late on Sunday nights and his support for his hometown hockey team, the Toronto Maple Leafs, keeps him in a constant state of disappointment.
