ISM Lower Campus students were treated to a feast of talent as the annual Krylatskoe Lower Campus’ Got Talent show opened with a bang on Wednesday, 29th January.
With fourteen participants and two special guest performances, there was a wide variety of acts to wow the audience. Our Lower Campus sports hall was transformed into a magical stage fit for the Bolshoi Theatre.
The show kicked off with Sasha Zakharova from Upper Campus, last year’s winner of the Upper Primary competition, and she set the bar high for the rest of the participants. Nonetheless, our finalists rose to the challenge and their stars shone brightly as the delighted audience looked on.
Myron, Aron and Jessica guided us through the show as enthusiastic presenters, while the fourteen finalists performed a variety of acts, which included singing, dancing, a magic show, and playing the saxophone, ukelele, and piano.
Our judges were as impressed as the audience, and gave glowing feedback to each participant. While the judges were busy counting up the scores there was time for one more act, a surprise performance by our teaching team of Ms Nishi, Ms Boroughs and Mr Gerosin - a performance fit for any concert!
With all of the finalists impressing the crowd, the final scoring was tight. Coming in third place was Sofiya with her wonderful gymnastics routine.
In second place, Taisiya and Ivanna dazzled Lower Campus with their Can-Can routine. Meanwhile, the trio of Adelina, Stefania and Kirill with their choreographed, skilful and very entertaining dance routine were deserved winners of the 2020 Krylatskoe Lower Campus’ Got Talent crown.
Well done to all who took part in the auditions and finals. We’re already looking forward to seeing which of our talented students steal next year’s show!
