It had been almost two and half years since students took to the stage to perform to a real audience, and although the music department, students and parents adapted effectively using online conferencing to the challenges posed by the recent heath pandemic the sense of relief and excitement the ensued on Thursday 2nd June was clearly evident.
We are delighted to be able to offer educational visits in and around Moscow at The International School of Moscow. These visits give the children an opportunity to contextualise their learning in places like museums, galleries and attractions. In addition to this, it is a fun way for the children to grow their independence!
With the reintroduction of Cross-Campus and external sport events and competitions at ISM the physical education department collaborated to bring the Festival of Sport to each campus.
On Thursday 23rd June, 73 students and 19 teachers slept on the ISM Rosinka Campus as part of The Big Sleepover 2022. They enjoyed a whole range of activities which included Kayaking, Swimming, Cycling, Wall Climbing and a Movie Night. The students enjoyed pizza for dinner, pancakes for breakfast and they even roasted marshmallows in the Rosinka Forest!

In June 2021, the Rosinka Campus held its first-ever Activities Week, where students from Pre-Nursery to Year Six participated in an array of activities across the Rosinka community.
The Virtual Nord Anglia Music Festival Live, this year’s most anticipated event, saw over a hundred young musicians and singers aged 9 - 18 from eight Nord Anglia Education schools across Europe gather together in snowy Moscow. From 23rd to 25th March, students had a chance to indulge in a vast array of workshops and compete for fame and glory.
ISM Rosinka students have immersed themselves into the written word by each focusing on a class novel that has stimulated their creativity and curiosity. With books ranging from Roald Dahl classics to new takes on beloved fairytales, such as Goldilocks and the Three Dinosaurs, a love of books has been easy to inspire.
As we live through a time of closed borders and travel restrictions, never before have we desired so much to embark on a journey to our favourite or hitherto unknown destinations. This year's Book Week focused on this very journey to other worlds through reading.
Recently, students of ISM Lower Campus wandered through a universe of literature for a whole week of celebrations. The children were delighted to spend time getting to know their favourite books in more detail than ever before. It was a joy to see so many children absorbed in the world of books!
