The International Day of Women and Girls in Science celebrates the contributions of women in STEM, including our very own receptionist, Meryem - who is also a chemical engineer. With 1.3 billion tons of food wasted annually, her research explores innovative ways to convert waste into biofuels, bioplastics, fertilizers, and food additives. These scientific advancements help reduce environmental impact and promote a more sustainable future. Supporting women in STEM empowers groundbreaking solutions that drive positive change worldwide.
