OUR GIFT TO YOU!
On Thursday 30th September, students in Madinat Khalifa primary took part in their first house event of the year. This event was to mark World Multiplication Table Day. To mark this event Year 1 and 2 took part in a “NumBots” challenge which earned the students points for their houses, while Years 3-6 took part in a “TimesTables Rockstar” battle that pitted the four houses against one other. The school was awash with house colours as the students proudly wore their colours into school for the day. After a brilliant day of competition where students displayed and refined their mathematical skills, it was clear to see that the students really enjoyed the first house competition of the year.
The blog highlights the transformative power of physical activity, emphasizing how it boosts energy, focus, and mental well-being. At Compass International School, promoting an active lifestyle is integral to fostering both physical and emotional health, which in turn enhances students' academic performance. The new initiative, Kickstart Kilometre, invites the school community to walk or jog together every Thursday morning, kickstarting their day with positive energy and improved focus. This approach aims to inspire a balanced lifestyle that helps manage stress and supports overall success in both academics and life.
