ADMISSIONS CRITERIA

Compass Doha is a positive and nurturing international school community in Qatar, which is open to children aged from 3 to 19.

We offer a rolling enrolment process, which means your child can join us at any time during the academic year, so long as we have places available. In line with our entry requirements – and the rules for school admissions set by Qatar’s Ministry of Education – your child will start in a class based on their date of birth. To enter a year group, they must have completed the previous academic year in full.

Your application journey starts with our expert team, who will guide you through our admissions criteria. They can also arrange an in-person tour of our campus or schedule a virtual discovery meeting.

Compass Doha operates an open admissions policy, but we do ask prospective students from Year 4 upwards to sit an age-appropriate entrance assessment.

We do this to make sure we can meet each learner’s needs. Tests are online and can be done either at Compass or, if it’s more convenient, at your child’s current school. Your child will also sit an in-class assessment at the end of the online test.
