OUR GIFT TO YOU!
On Monday, Compass School held a group interview with 8 Year 10 students in order to decide which 2 students would be representing our school at the UN Global Goals Summit in New York, this July. After submitting an application, each student was given 5 minutes to present their ideas on how we can help to achieve either Zero Hunger or Good Health and Well-being in our school community. The quality of ideas and standard of presentation was excellent and the team (Paul, Amelia Norrie, Patricia Bernardo – Secondary Student Leader and Laura Anderson-Rice) was incredibly impressed by their efforts. The 8 students were as follows:
Maria Esteves
Lamis Bareche
Fleur Ambergen
Mira Grolus
Ahmad Matin Moors
Ananna Amin
Daniel Velders
Omar Mohamed
The blog highlights the transformative power of physical activity, emphasizing how it boosts energy, focus, and mental well-being. At Compass International School, promoting an active lifestyle is integral to fostering both physical and emotional health, which in turn enhances students' academic performance. The new initiative, Kickstart Kilometre, invites the school community to walk or jog together every Thursday morning, kickstarting their day with positive energy and improved focus. This approach aims to inspire a balanced lifestyle that helps manage stress and supports overall success in both academics and life.
