Admissions Open 2025-2026
Today BVIS Primary students had their great time with parents making traditional Chung cake at school. This is the annual activities for Primary students in Tet, reminding them of the Lunar New Year tradition.
The activitiy received great attention of Primart students and parents. Despite busy schedule, parents came to the class and help our children with making Chung cake. The presence and participation of our parents at this school activity became significant support for children and teachers. Students truly learnt a lot about Tet thanks to this kind of activity such as the meaning of Chung cake in Vietnamese history, the ingredients of a Chung cake, how to wrap and cook Chung cake in traditional ways, etc.
Korean students and parents also took part in the activity. To many of them, this had been the first time they made Vietnamese traditional cake for Lunar New Year. It seemed to be a challenge at the very first moments, but soon became an experience of joy.
Our children did make their own Chung cakes and write their names on them with parents and friends. Tet of their childhood would be more meaningful thanks to these memories.
More meaningful and interesting actitives are awaiting our childrens from now to Tet holiday. BVIS Hanoi has made great efforts in creating a stimulating learning environment which nurtures global citizens with national perspective.
