Admissions Open 2025-2026
Over the last few weeks, students in our Primary school have been taking part in ‘Hack The Tube’, an activity designed by our partners at MIT. #NAEMIT
This simple challenge involved a toilet roll tube and lots of imagination, to create something new with it. This really challenged our student’s creativity, problem-solving, organisation and planning skills, all through the medium of enquiry; a key aspect of our educational philosophy at The British Vietnamese International School, Hanoi. Using different aspects of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths (STEAM), the students have created some truly outstanding ‘hacks’, learning so much as they brought their ideas to life. Many of our students made video diaries of their thought-processes and production, revealing important moments, such as deciding what to do when faced with an obstacle or difficulty in design, and figuring out how to improve it.
We are really proud of their achievements this term and I am even more excited about our partnership with MIT going forwards.
