Admissions Open 2025-2026
The children in Year 2 had a wonderful camping day last week as the Exit Point for the IPC topic, 'Hooray, let’s go on Holiday'. Before the camping day, the Year 2 students were very excited to be participating in many activities leading up to the day. They wrote checklists and drew pictures of camping activities in preparation for the special day. Despite the hot weather, we had lots of fun taking part in a variety of activities such as learning how to pitch a tent, playing football and Frisbee and climbing on the play equipment. Some children chose to play card games or read quietly in the shaded areas together. We were very proud to see them proving themselves to be responsible students by packing and bringing tents, blankets, snacks and games to school. The children were also very good at clearing their belongings and food wrappers at the end of the day, and left Eco Park just as tidy as they found it.
We would also like to say a big thank to the parents who came out to join the event. It was so nice to see so many families playing and having snacks together; your presence surely boosted the children’s enjoyment even more. The event could not have been such a success without the help and support of teachers, TAs and support staff. What fun we all had!
The most obvious message from the event: team work rocks! When we work as a team, anything is possible!
We are looking forward to more learning and fun-filled weeks of activities in the year ahead.
