Admissions Open 2025-2026
Psychology is one of the most fascinating sciences in the world today. What makes us think or feel? What makes us happy, or sad? How do we learn? How can we be more successful human beings?
Neuropsychology allows us to see what is happening in the brain when we think and when we feel. It can shed insight into what parts of the brain are responsible for particular functions. We can examine how the brain changes and reshapes itself, repairs damage or prunes away functions no longer required.
We are using studies of human behaviour to help us deal with everything from memory loss to why teenagers can be emotional and argumentative. We can reduce social problems by understanding everything from drug addiction to how to make children love fruit and vegetables.
Psychology offers fantastic opportunities in a wide range of careers from working as an Organisational Psychologist in a multi-national business to a Psychiatrist helping people overcome life’s difficulties. A Forensic Psychologist can help legal systems work whereas an Educational Psychologist supports families and schools.
We offer this as a new and exciting opportunity for Sixth Form students at BVIS.
