This week has seen the launch of Project Penguin in the school.
Project Penguin is a school wide project that is aimed at increasing awareness of environmental issues in the school and wider community. As part of the project we have been delighted to host Lan Cung, a teacher from BVIS Ho Chi Minh City, who has recently visited Antarctica and explored how the melting ice in Antarctica will have a big impact on the world, including Vietnam.
Lan has been involved in a range of projects from working with Year 7 exploring environmental issues in Vietnam to reading environmental related stories to students in the Early Years’ Centre. Our students have also assisted on our Charity stall to raise funds that will be used for future environmental projects.
