As a Korean student at BVIS Hanoi, Hoseong has become familiar with both Vietnamese culture and international learning styles.

In 2018, HoSeong also represented BVIS attending the high-level conference for students at the United Nations (New York City, USA) participating in the UNICEF collaboration with Nord Anglia Education.

Nguyen Cong Minh Duc said his results of one A* and two A grades have secured him a university place at the prestigious British university, Imperial College, London to study Biological Science. Nguyen Cong Minh Duc said: “I was so excited when I opened my results as I realised my ambition to go to this university had been achieved.”

JiWon has excelled at everything she has done at BVIS. Not only has she achieved excellence in her academic studies but she has also found time to be Head Girl and help run the Student Parliament.

She stated ‘I achieved an A grade by studying hard and asking my teachers a lot of questions. I found this very helpful.’

I definitely found the A Level programme at BVIS to be very helpful, as it covered a lot of material from my first semester in college. This made my transition from BVIS to college so much smoother. Thanks to the hard work of both our students and teachers; my experience at university has been great so far.

To describe BVIS in one word, I would definitely say we are ‘global’. We welcome students of all different backgrounds and nationalities. It is great because we get the chance to be exposed to different cultures. By talking to each other, we know more about and are proud of our cultures and nationalities.
