The British School of Tashkent is delighted to announce our A-level results for 2022-23. A combination of hard work and effort by our outstanding students, combined with academic and wellbeing support from teachers, family and friends gave great results.
This year, all graduates will continue their academic studies at some of the world’s best universities, including University of California, Berkeley, University of Toronto and University of Southern California.
Among these students will be Robiyakhon Anvarova and Tair Alibekov, who achieved four As (mathematics, physics, biology, chemistry), putting themselves in the top grade of A-level students worldwide, and Robert Gaforov, who’s been accepted into the University of Southern California to study philosophy, politics and law.
“I joined BST two years ago. In the first year, my grades were not very good, even though I wanted to apply to the best universities in the world. The support I received during my study at BST raised my knowledge significantly. My teachers encouraged me to work not only on my subjects, but also to work on self-development to achieve the desired results. Many thanks to my teachers and parents for endless help and support,” said Robert Gafarov.
The British School of Tashkent Principal, Andre Nel also shared his pleasure: “I would like to say a huge congratulations to all our students who have received their excellent A-level results.
"As a school, we are all incredibly proud of the results - they reflect the hard work and dedication the staff and our students have put in over the last two years of studying. A-levels are by no means easy, and our students definitely deserve to give themselves a pat on the back.
"I know these results have helped put them in good stead for their next step, whether it be on to university, an apprenticeship or into employment.
"A huge well done to all, and I wish our students the best for their futures."
