BA, Doctorate, PGCE.
I began my teaching experience in a bilingual School in 2008 in Seoul, Korea. In 2019, I embarked on my journey with the British International School of Shanghai. Since then, I have been teaching EAL and Science at BISS. I have taught Biology, Chemistry, and Physics for Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. I teach Key Stage 3 Science lessons, and my role is to develop and deliver lessons to pupils and make regular assessments to ensure that all students understand what is expected of them. I also design and assist in setting up hands-on investigations for each topic studied. I sincerely love teaching each student and appreciate the learning culture at BISS. Working at BISS has allowed me to develop a profound appreciation of different cultures and empathy toward others. Seeing pupils improve themselves academically and in social skills is one of my deepest joys and pleasures. Bringing Science to life in the classroom fulfils my passion for motivating children and being enthusiastic about learning and discovering their talents
