For several years, I taught Mandarin at different international schools in West Africa, Thailand and Shanghai. I have also taught students from a wide range of ages, levels and class sizes. Some of my students are totally beginners in Chinese and some are preparing for their IGCSEs. I love to teach my students material relating to Chinese culture. In particular, riddles are great fun and I enjoy seeing the students work to understand the meanings. I encourage them to compare our different cultural backgrounds and share ideas based on what they learn in my classes.
