My teaching career has spanned about 19 years in countries such as Uganda, Qatar and China. Before moving to Qatar, I taught Chemistry and Science in the Aga Khan Schools system. I previously worked at an international school here in Shanghai. I serve as an IB examiner and a leader of both online and face-to-face workshops.
I enjoy providing an educational environment that allows students to take risks, be curious and learn effectively. I especially enjoy scaffolding realistic scenarios into content that relates to their environment. Additionally, I employ the experimental approach in Science, which challenges students to experience what they need to understand, question their assumptions and receive feedback to develop their understanding.
