I started my teaching career in South Africa, after which I took on a peripatetic teaching role for special needs students in London. I completed more than 10 years of teaching across Primary in the UK, before joining BISS Puxi in 2019.
I am the Year Leader for Year 3 with an additional role as Phonics Lead for the Primary School. I support my colleagues who are teaching Phonics, to ensure the best quality teaching for our students.
As a class teacher I strive to create a happy and thriving learning environment for all the students in my class. I firmly believe in having a close relationship with my students’ parents and to have meaningful and regular communication. I particularly enjoy tracking my students’ progress and sharing their achievements with their parents.
