After qualifying as a teacher and working for a few years in schools in London, I completed what was meant to be just two years overseas, in Osaka, Japan. Since then and almost a fifteen years later, I have returned to London as well as lived and worked in Alexandria, Egypt and then finally, here in Shanghai.
I enjoy all that the STEAM department has to offer here as its well resourced and we are a creative department. I also enjoy organising and leading activities outside of my subject, whether this be organising a fundraiser for the various charities the school supports or working with students to deliver a form assembly. The school has lots to offer beyond academics and its great that students get to experience it all.
