I started teaching MFL in the UK in 1999 and also took on roles within the pastoral life of a state secondary school. I began work at BISS Puxi in 2013, firstly as Head of Year 10, then moving into Assistant and Deputy Head roles with responsibility for the pastoral care in the Secondary School.
I currently work across the whole school supporting the leadership teams in both the Primary and Secondary Schools, and working closely with the Vice Principal. As part of the Whole School team, our aim is to ensure consistency across the school.
I very much enjoy the interaction in the MFL classroom, as there are always plenty of opportunities for collaboration. In particular, I love to see the students puzzling through the challenges of German word order rules and finding the solutions together!
