After qualifying as a Primary Teacher with Durham University, I began my career with Nord Anglia Education in Shanghai. I have spent the past two years working for Nord Anglia Chinese International School, specialising with Key Stage 2 students. Prior to qualifying as a teacher, I worked as a Learning Support Assistant for an international school in Tianjin. I am a passionate proponent of international education, because I believe it is the best preparation we can give our young students for their future lives. I particularly love teaching History, Geography and Science and seek to promote a life-long fascination with the intricacies of our planet among the children I teach. I also delight in sharing the joys of the English language in my classroom and am a strong advocate of quality children’s literature.
