I have worked with teenagers and their families extensively over the past 13 years as an English teacher and a Form Tutor. Prior to China, I spent 13 years in Singapore, teaching students from Year 7 to Year 13, facilitating their journey not just in the classroom, but also helping them and their families navigate the unique challenges adolescence brings.
I am most passionate about coaching my students into finding the real life connection in every lesson. My lessons centre around an essential question that is meant to enrich my students’ opportunities to discover an aspect of the real world in the lesson, through role play or through debates or even through Socratic circles.
