I began my teaching career in Spain in 2011 after which I joined the British School Jakarta teaching German, Spanish and TOK. I have also taught in Colombia, Austria and Japan and worked in multinationals in Berlin and Frankfurt. I then taught German, Spanish and EAL at an international school in Shanghai before joining BISS.
I enjoy the versatile and collaborative nature of MFL teaching and particularly seeing students making connections between English and its Germanic origin. I also love helping students learn the funny (and literal) translations of clever compound nouns. I enjoy being adaptable with resources to ensure students learn through personalised recognition and fun as well as self-study.
