I started my teaching career in a Primary School in the UK in 2006. Over the course of eight years, I took on a range of leadership responsibilities including, PE, Phonics, Maths, Key Stage 1, Forest School and Early Years Leader. I began working at BISS Puxi in 2019 after spending three years teaching in Egypt. At BISS Puxi, I arrived as a Year Leader in Year 2. I then moved to an Assistant and Deputy Head role, with responsibility for a range of areas, including assessment and monitoring across the whole of the Primary School.
During my early days of teaching in Early Years, I discovered the joy and excitement that we as teachers can create for our students, especially when children are immersed in a learning environment with resources that inspire awe and wonder.
