I started teaching in the UK in 2016 as an NQT before moving to teach in China in December 2018. Starting in Ningbo, as an EAL Specialist and Homeroom Teacher in an International School, I have developed a new understanding of teaching. Alongside teaching, I would be working on the development of the Curriculum across the school. This is my second year teaching in BISS Puxi in Year 6.
I thoroughly enjoy teaching, in particular when students have their ‘lightbulb’ moments. Those moments that we, as teachers, build up to and students gain confidence when they realise something new and exciting.
