The United Kingdom
The UK is regularly one of our students' most popular destinations. BISS students have accepted places at University of Oxford, Imperial College London and University College London (UCL). Students from the BISS Class of 2023 are now attending institutions including UCL (University College London), London School of Economics and Political Science, the University of Edinburgh, the University of Manchester, the University of Sheffield, and University of Warwick, all ranked in the top 100.
The United States of America and Canada
The proportion of students applying to and enrolling in American universities continues to climb, and our Higher Education team is well equipped to position students for this transition. The overwhelming majority of our students went on to enroll at US News top 50 ranked schools, including the University of Michigan, University of Southern California, Boston College, New York University, and University of California San Diego.
Our 2023 applicants have also received offers from the top universities in Canada, including the University of Toronto, McGill University and the University of British Columbia – all of which are in the QS top 50.
In addition to our experienced specialists in the region, BISS is a registered SAT and PSAT administrator with College Board.
Asia
Hong Kong and Singapore continue to be popular destinations. Our past students have secured places at National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
We also work very closely with BISS students interested in applying to South Korea. Each year we support a considerable number of students’ applications to highly selective universities, such as Seoul National University, KAIST, Yonsei University, and Korea University, with tremendous success.
Other destinations
Alongside QS top 100 universities, students from our 2023 cohort have also enrolled in some of the most competitive international joint-programmes in the world, including the World Bachelor in Business programme and the HKU-UCL joint LLB programme. Each year, our students apply to a wide range of specialist colleges and universities, and 2023 students successfully enrolled in University of the Arts London and Emerson College.
Subject choices
Our class of 2023 chose to study a wide range of subjects, including medicine, law, engineering, business, and the arts & sciences. Students are pursuing courses in psychology, biomedical sciences, bioengineering (Michigan), aerospace engineering, arts & sciences (UCL), fashion design, fashion management, visual arts, banking and finance, computer science and mathematics, film & business studies (USC), among others.
