Avenues New York and Avenues São Paulo join the Nord Anglia Education family of international schools. The two Avenues schools have exceptional reputations for teaching and learning innovation, with students graduating as accomplished, global citizens.

The Nord Anglia Education family of schools will comprise 87 international schools across 33 countries. And in China, we have more than 20 schools now, half bilingual schools and half international schools.
20+ years ago, Nord Anglia Education’s journey in China began:
· 2002, we opened in Shanghai with the Nord Anglia International School Shanghai, Pudong.
· 2003, we came to Beijing, The British School of Beijing, Sanlitun, started.
· Then The British International School Shanghai, Puxi, opened in 2005.
· 2006, after just 5 years we were teaching over 1000 students in China.
· 2009, we opened The British School of Beijing, Shunyi.
· 2013, The British School of Guangzhou opened — the first school in South China.
· 2014, Nord Anglia International School Hong Kong, Lam Tin, opened.
· 2015, Leman International School Chengdu joined in NAE family.
· 2016, we entered the bilingual market with a new school - NACIS Shanghai.
· 2017, The British School of Nanjing and Nord Anglia International Pre-School Hong Kong, Sai Kung.
We won 'Best International School' Diplomats’ Choice Award by Global Times.
· 2018, we opened NAS Ningbo.
· 2019-2020, NAS Beijing-Fangshan, Foshan, Nantong, Jiaxing, Shenzhen and Guangzhou, Panyu.
· 2019-2020, we acquired Dalian Huamei School and Dalian American International School.
· 2021, we opened NAS Suzhou, Nord Anglia International School Hong Kong, Kwun Tong,
and Nord Anglia International School Guangzhou.
· In 2021, we won the International School Award for Strategic Leadership
BISS Puxi Principal, Andrew Lancaster, was recognized for his outstanding contribution
to education and became Magnolia Award Winner.
· 2022, we opened our latest school in China - NAS Beijing Shunyi.
