In order to help keep our community connected we invited students, parents, and teachers to participate in regular 'Virtual Choir' rehearsals. This was made possible thanks to the use of Microsoft Teams which we introduced to families through our NAESVE programme. We welcomed over 90 members to the choir which included established singers, and those new to singing!
This video project was made by 30 of our members as a culmination of the work we did in our virtual rehearsals; we also wanted to celebrate the great community spirit which is found at BISS Puxi.
We dedicate our 'virtual performance' to all affected by COVID-19, and also to the memory of Bill Withers who composed this wonderful song with its message of support and friendship.
On the 14th and 15th of November the Performing Arts team were thrilled to welcome our curriculum specialist from The Juilliard School, Ms Aurea Tomeski to collaborate with staff and students across the school.
BISS Puxi was delighted to welcome Ashley Newman to BISS Puxi last week. Ashley is BISS Puxi’s Juilliard Dance Curriculum Specialist. Ashley spent three days with BISS staff and students and mainly focused on providing professional development to the members of faculty who teach dance at BISS Puxi.
