Open Days
The BISS Puxi Temple Fair remains one of our most popular school events and this special Year of the Pig fair was no exception! BISS Puxi parents and children enjoyed a host of activities, performances and pig-related fun.
This year we saw an even wider range of activities including traditional Chinese performances from students and parents alike. The younger ones delved into making pig pictures, pig business, lanterns and faces. The older ones tried their hands at calligraphy and even a dynamic and very competitive badminton tournament.
It all came together to create a fun and friendly BISS Puxi community atmosphere and it was the people there that made it such a special occasion for the school.
We would like to thank all of the parents and children who attended, all the vendors for taking part and all the teachers, organizers and performancers that worked tirelessly to put the show together.
Wishing all of the BISS Puxi community a fabulous Chinese New Year and all the best for the Year if the Pig!
Vanessa and Suzanne Marton graduated from BISS in 2012, and both went on to study Law at the London School of Economics & Political Science and University of Oxford, respectively. We've caught up with them to see how they're getting on as successful lawyers, and asked seven questions reflecting on what made BISS special to them.
Eugene graduated from BISS Puxi in 2022 and is currently studying BA (Hons) Architecture at Edinburgh University. In this interview, Eugene talks us through the valuable experiences he had at BISS, how international education helped to shape his future ambitions, and provides some useful advice for students looking to follow a similar path.
