Falconry Demonstration

Falconry Demonstration - falconry-demonstration
Falconry Demonstration Nursery and Reception and Years 1 and 2 enjoyed a falconry demonstration this week. A Barn owl, Eurasian eagle-owl, Raven and Red-tailed hawk were all brought to the children in the Maples playground and Willows garden. The children were shown how these birds of prey hunt, fly and survive in the wild. They also learned some interesting facts about each of the birds, for example, did you know that the Eurasian eagle-owl is the largest owl in Europe?
