IGCSE Art & Design On 26,27 April, our 9 Year 11 IGCSE Art & Design students boldly went where no BISB students have been in 3 years! They completed their Coursework and Exam! An amazing achievement! Covid had forced us to make changes to submitted art , until now.

On 26,27 April, our 9 Year 11 IGCSE Art & Design students boldly went where no BISB students have been in 3 years! They completed their Coursework and Exam! An amazing achievement! Covid had forced us to make changes to submitted art , until now.

The starting points the students had to choose from this year were - Matching pair, Stretch, Boxed in, Land and sea and Uniform. They had around nine weeks to investigate their topic and made 2 x A2 sheets for their preparation. Then there was an eight-hour exam to create their personal response, their final piece.

I was so impressed with the students’ attitude and work ethic, great quality of work in the exam period of eight hours, that I emailed all of their parents to congratulate them.

WELL DONE Year 11 Artists! What a great achievement.
