On Thursday 18th October, all Year 11 Mathematics students took a trip to the city centre. The main goal of the morning was for teams of students to work together to approximate the width of the Danube River using trigonometry (without getting wet). Students worked well together to decide what measurements they needed and how to use the equipment to collect this information. They then made calculations and compared these to estimates to see if their results were reasonable. How wide do you think the Danube is at Most SNP?
