Thank You Message From AP1 Student Council
Teacher’s day 2015 is on 20th November and that as last Friday! A big round of applause on behalf of AP1 and Thank you teachers; this school wouldn’t be as marvellous as this if it wasn’t for you! Once again, A Very Big thank you for which making a huge good difference for this school. Also, 23rd November is Guards and cleaner’s day.

Year 6's Hydroponic Garden
During our new class in 6V, Mr. John created some leadership groups where we came up with ideas on how to improve our classroom. One of the suggestions was to make a hydroponic garden where our class could grow different kinds of plants.

This week we meet two teachers, one who has joined us with her family from their previous posting in Cairo, Egypt and the second from the Isle of Wight in the UK. I am happy to report that both have settled in really well to AP1 and a wonderful addition to our teaching staff and BIS community.

Our Basketball Teams
Our Basketball teams have been busy this term with 2 recent fixtures against Tu Xuong and AIS. One home match and one away match gave the students the opportunity to put into action the skills learned with their coaches Mr Richard and Mr John.

Moving countries as many of us know is not an easy thing to do, to up root from family and friends, to leave all you know that is safe and secure can be daunting for some but we are delighted that our new staff this year have take the risk and have joined us here at AP1.

Year 1 IPC topic 'Who am I?'
It's been a very exciting new year in Year 1! The children have settled in so well and have been eager to share stories from their holidays and make lots of new friends. Our first IPC topic 'Who am I?' has already seen the children drawing and labelling their bodies.

Afternoon Tea at Villa Royale
After school on Monday a group of about 40 parents and teachers attended 'Afternoon Tea' at Villa Royale in District 2. It was a truly British event with a wide selection of teas, and scones with jam and cream!
