BIS HCMC students secure record offers from the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge in the United Kingdom, ranked in the top 5 universities worldwide

We are thrilled to announce that a record three students from the BIS HCMC Class of 2025 have received offers from the University of Oxford, ranked number 3 in the world, and the University of Cambridge, ranked number 5 in the world. A huge congratulations to Quynh An, YeongSeo (Judy) and JaeYeon on their extraordinary achievement that sets a new benchmark for BIS students.

These achievements come as BIS students begin to secure outstanding offers from top universities around the world, including USA, UK, Australia and Asia and these numbers will only continue to rise as more decisions will be made over the coming weeks.

Following his support at the Ironman branded series of triathlons last weekend in Phu Quoc, 6x Ironman Triathlon World Champion Mark Allen visited BIS HCMC to share his journey and advice on smashing personal goals. Racing in Phu Quoc last weekend in the inaugural Ironman 70.3, Sprint triathlon and Ironkids, were BIS HCMC staff, students and parents. The importance of literacy across the curriculum

Changes to our curriculum with the introduction of our 2 week timetable have allowed us to introduce an extra skills-based literacy lesson, called reciprocal reading. The small group sessions help students decode texts, delve into the deeper meaning and learn new vocabulary in a student-led setting. Literacy has been shown to have an affect on success across all subject matters and even affect GCSE results across subjects like maths, art and history.

The growth of sustainability and global citizenship at BIS HCMC
