Dear Secondary School Community,
Dear Secondary School Community,
This week, our Year 7–12 students embarked on their exciting residential trips to various places around Vietnam.
These trips help to foster challenge, bonding, self-discovery, and community service. Through shared experiences, students will forge lasting connections and develop a sense of unity. Moreover, these trips offer an invaluable opportunity for self-reflection and exploration, enabling students to discover their strengths and passions. By engaging in community service initiatives, students will cultivate a deeper understanding of global citizenship.
I can’t wait to hear about the lifelong memories they have created as a result of this week. In the meantime, please enjoy a collection of pictures from this week’s trips.
Yours Sincerely,
Chris Newman
Head of Secondary
The BIS swim squad had an exciting weekend at the UNIS Invitational Swim Gala on October 28–29. Everyone did truly well in their individual events, and many achieved heat-win ribbons and new records. Primary U10 boys successfully secured first place in their freestyle relay heat, while Secondary swimmers were neck-in-neck with other teams in their relay events.
The gala was a great opportunity for students to gain precious swimming experience and learn from other swimmers. All BIS swimmers showcased their enthusiasm, determination, and sportsmanship during the event. More importantly, they have grown massively in confidence and swimming skills. Well done, Lionhearts swimmers!
Finally, we would like to say thank you to all the parents who came and supported their children at the event. You made a great contribution to BIS's success on the day!
